Proprietary Training Methods

All training systems, techniques, methodologies, exercises, frameworks, lesson structures, philosophies, and instructional approaches taught, demonstrated, or shared by Bold Equine through horse training services, coaching sessions, clinics, educational materials, or online courses are proprietary intellectual property owned exclusively by Bold Equine.

These proprietary methods include any unique approaches to horse training, horsemanship education, rider development, behavioral training strategies, and instructional frameworks developed or presented by the Company.

Restricted Use

By participating in or purchasing any services, clinics, coaching, or courses provided by Bold Equine, you agree that you will not copy, replicate, teach, distribute, or commercially use any proprietary training methods for the purpose of:

  • Creating or offering your own training program, clinic, course, or coaching service

  • Teaching or instructing others using the Company’s proprietary methods as a structured system

  • Publishing or distributing the training methods in written, video, or digital format

  • Creating derivative educational products based substantially on the Company’s materials or systems

  • Representing the methods as your own intellectual property

Participants may apply the techniques learned for personal use with their own horses or in their own riding practice. However, the methods themselves may not be reproduced, systemized, or taught commercially without prior written permission from Bold Equine.



Payment Conditions

Pricing & Fees

All prices listed on the website are displayed in CAD unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time without prior notice. Any price changes will not affect services that have already been confirmed and paid for.

Payment Requirements

Payment may be required in full or as a deposit in order to confirm a booking or secure a place in a clinic, coaching session, training program, or online course. Bookings are not considered confirmed until payment has been successfully received.

Accepted payment methods include electronic transfer, and payment methods available on this website.

Deposits

Certain services, including clinics, training programs, or events, may require a non-refundable deposit to reserve a spot. Deposit amounts and specific conditions will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

Late or Failed Payments

If a payment cannot be processed or is declined, Bold Equine reserves the right to cancel the booking or suspend access to services or online course materials until payment is successfully completed.

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting Bold Equine to resolve the issue may result in the suspension or termination of access to services, courses, or website accounts. We reserve the right to contest any chargebacks where services or materials have already been provided.


Refund Policy

Online Services and Digital Products

Due to the digital nature of online services and educational materials, all purchases of online services, online courses, digital programs, and downloadable content are final and non-refundable.

Physical Products

Physical products purchased through the website may be eligible for a refund within 30 days of the original purchase date.

To qualify for a refund:

  • The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging.

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the product arrives damaged or defective.

  • Proof of purchase must be provided.

Refunds will be issued once the returned item has been received and inspected.

Coaching Services

All coaching sessions, and in-person training services are non-refundable once booked.

However, if a session cannot take place due to circumstances such as:

  • Severe weather

  • Illness

  • Injury

  • Other safety-related concerns

Bold Equine may issue a credit for the value of the session, which will be held in trust and may be used toward a rescheduled session at a later date.

Credits must be used within one calendar year and are subject to scheduling availability.

Clinic Services

Clinic and retreat tickets may be refunded, minus a 50% deposit, up to 72 hours before the scheduled start date.

However, if a session cannot take place due to circumstances such as:

  • Severe weather

  • Illness

  • Injury

  • Other safety-related concerns

Bold Equine may issue a credit for the value of the session, which will be held in trust and may be used toward a rescheduled session at a later date.

Credits must be used within one calendar year and are subject to scheduling availability.

Cancellations by the Company

In the event that Bold Equine must cancel a clinic, coaching session, or training service due to safety concerns, horse health, facility issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered either:

  • A rescheduled session, or

  • A credit toward a future service

Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide through our website, including:

  • Information submitted through contact forms, sign-ups, or registrations

Liability Waiver Requirement

Participation in clinics, coaching sessions, workshops, or any events organized by Bold Equine is conditional upon the completion and signing of a Liability Release Waiver. All attendees, participants, and/or guardians (if the participant is under the age of 18) must review and sign the required waiver prior to attending or participating in any activity.

By registering for or attending an event, participants acknowledge that equine activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of injury, property damage, or death. Participants agree that they will not be permitted to participate in any clinic, coaching session, or event until the signed liability waiver has been received and accepted by Bold Equine.

Bold Equine reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual who has not completed the required waiver documentation.

Indemnity and Limitation of Liability

Participation in equine-related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of personal injury, property damage, or death. By participating in any training, clinic, coaching session, lesson, workshop, or event organized or hosted by Bold Equine, participants acknowledge and accept these risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants agree to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bold Equine, its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, and event hosts from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to participation in any Bold Equine activities, events, or services.

Bold Equine shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense suffered by participants, spectators, or their property, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of participating in equine activities and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by Bold Equine staff and event organizers.


Photography and Media Release

By participating in any clinic, coaching session, workshop, lesson, or event organized or hosted by Bold Equine, participants acknowledge and agree that photographs, video recordings, or other media may be captured during the activity.

Participants grant Bold Equine the irrevocable right and permission to photograph, film, record, and use their image, likeness, voice, and participation, as well as images of their horses, for purposes including but not limited to advertising, marketing, social media, website content, promotional materials, and educational or instructional content.

Participants understand that these materials may be used by Bold Equine without compensation and may be edited, reproduced, published, or distributed in any format or media now known or developed in the future.

Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings must notify Bold Equine in writing prior to the start of the event or activity. Bold Equine will make reasonable efforts to respect such requests but cannot guarantee that participants will not appear incidentally in group or background images.



Training and Boarding Contract Requirement

All horses accepted for training, boarding, or related services with Bold Equine are subject to a written Training and/or Boarding Agreement. Owners or authorized agents must review and sign the applicable contract prior to the horse arriving on the property or before any services begin.

The agreement will outline the terms and conditions of care, training services, payment obligations, risk acknowledgment, veterinary authorization, and other responsibilities of both the horse owner and Bold Equine.

Bold Equine reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services for any horse whose owner has not completed the required agreement or fails to comply with the terms outlined in the contract.


Right to Modify Services and Offerings

Bold Equine reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any services, programs, clinics, coaching sessions, events, pricing, or offerings at any time and without prior notice. While reasonable efforts will be made to communicate significant changes, Bold Equine is not obligated to maintain any specific service, schedule, instructor, format, or offering.

Bold Equine may also adjust content, structure, location, duration, or availability of services as necessary to maintain safety, quality, and operational requirements.

By using Bold Equine services or registering for events, participants acknowledge and agree that services and offerings may change from time to time and that Bold Equine shall not be held liable for any modification, cancellation, or discontinuation of services.


Right to Change and Modify Terms

Bold Equine reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time, at its sole discretion. Changes may be made to reflect updates to services, legal requirements, business practices, or operational needs.

Any updates will become effective immediately upon being posted on the Bold Equine website or otherwise communicated to users. It is the responsibility of users, clients, and participants to review these Terms periodically to remain informed of any changes.

By continuing to access the website, register for events, purchase services, or participate in any Bold Equine activities after modifications have been posted, users acknowledge and agree to be bound by the updated Terms and Conditions.


Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions, and any agreements or services provided by Bold Equine, shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the use of the Bold Equine website, participation in services, events, clinics, coaching, training, boarding, or any related agreement shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiations between the parties.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, the parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation before pursuing further legal action. Should mediation fail to resolve the dispute, the matter shall be submitted to the courts located within the Province of Alberta, and the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

By using Bold Equine services or participating in any related activities, users acknowledge and agree to this governing law and dispute resolution provision.
